Richard Don Anderson, III, "Trey", age 26, of Birmingham, passed away August 14, 2017. He graduated from Oak Mtn. High School and was completing his degree at the University of Alabama. Trey could light up a room with his larger than life personality and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Alice Ward Hughes, Frank E. Hughes Jr. and Richard "Andy" Don Anderson Sr. Trey is survived by his loving parents Frances Hughes Milstead and Donald Milstead, Richard Don Anderson, Jr. and Patsy Anderson, grandmother Mary Condon Anderson, Uncle David and Aunt Ritchie Anderson, and Aunt Alice Michael and many loving family members. Trey loved life, but lost the struggle of narcotic addiction through an accidental overdose. He is now at peace in the arms of Jesus. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm.
