BARNETT, ROBERT WAYNE, age 56 of Trussville, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Price; and father, Dalton Barnett, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Billie Sue Barnett; daughters, Cathy and Wendy; brother, Dalton Barnett, Jr.; sister, Patricia Burns (Charles); and several nieces and nephews. Wayne worked security at The Birmingham Race Course. The family would like to thank the staff of the MICU at St. Vincent’s East for the excellent care given to Wayne. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be graveside at Forest Hill Cemetery on Thursday, February 13, 2014 beginning at 2 PM.
