Robert "Bob" L. Collins

Bob was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church and was retired from U. S. Steel. He also served in the U. S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Edith Collins; sister, Elsie Braddock and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Loyd and Kathleen Collins and his sister, Frances Collins Merrell.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with burial in the historic Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
