Robert Bruce Robertson III, died in Fairhope, Alabama of complications due to surgery, on April 21, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born on August 3, 1935 to Bruce and Audrey (Johnston) Robertson in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Robertson graduated from the University of Alabama in 1956, and then served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958. Upon completing his military service Mr. Robertson obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama in 1960. He practiced law in Birmingham and retired to Orange Beach, Alabama. Mr. Robertson enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as cooking for his friends at the Live Oak community in Foley, Alabama. He was predeceased by his wife, Violet Anthony Robertson of Evergreen, Alabama, and is survived by his three daughters: Frances Robertson Jay of Atlanta, Georgia; Sandra Lee Robertson Kuwica, of Birmingham, Alabama; Ocllo Robertson Mason, of Natick, Massachusetts; and his sister, Polly Mash, of Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Robertson also had eight grandchildren Riley, George, and Frances Jay; Ocllo and Matt Kuwica; Brooks, Philip, and David Mason.
