Robert Earl Seymour, Sr., born July 14, 1939, of Gardendale went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, B.J., his son Rob, Jr., daughter Nello Seymour-Clark (Mark), grandchildren, Trey (Robert Earl, 111) (Randilea) and Jade Seymour-Sewell (Wayne); three magical great grandchildren, Ryder, Gracie and Zander; two brothers J.C. Seymour and James F. Seymour (Martha); sister Hazel Norris. Earl was very well known for his love of Alabama football, church, family & friends; truly an inspiration to those fortunate enough to meet him; strong, loving, hard-working, morally determined and family oriented. A life well lived! A special thank you to Hospice of Hoover for their impeccable, professional compassion. There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 22, 2014 at Elmwood Chapel, with a visitation one hour prior.
