

Born on October 7, 1942, to Mary Ernest Echols and Owen Raby Webb in Matador, Texas. His family later settled in Lubbock, where Mike formed lifelong friendships during his years at Lubbock High School and Texas Tech University, graduating in 1965.
Throughout his career, Mike made a lasting impact in the Organics, Lawn & Garden, and Animal Bedding industries. He was known not only for his professional expertise but also for the genuine connections he built with colleagues and employees. His warm, generous spirit and thoughtful leadership fostered positive, enduring relationships and uplifting workplaces.
In his later years, Mike found immense joy on his beloved property, affectionately known by the family as “Grandpa’s Farm.” The ranch-style setting became a cherished haven for his children and grandchildren - a place filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Ernest Echols and Owen Raby Webb; first wife, Linda Booker Webb; and brother, David Owen Webb; Mike is survived by his second wife, Elizabeth Webb; his daughter, Tracy Leigh (Greg) Palmer; and his son, John Michael (Shannon) Webb. He is also survived by his brother, John Raby Webb; grandsons, Bryan and Matthew Palmer, Booker and Riley Webb; granddaughter, Grace Palmer; and step-children Nicholas and Laura Oleska.
