Rodney Mackey

Rodney Mackey passed away surrounded by his wife, Sheila Mackey: daughter, Rhonda Alesce and husband, Michael Alesce;son, Zachary Mackey: and grandson, Riley Mackey. He left this world to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was 77 years old and was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday August 11, 1945.

He was married to Sheila on December 14, 1979 in Springville, Alabama. He was proud of working at ACIPCO until he retired. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and drive his cars. Rodney was always a wonderful husband and dad and daddy and grandpa. He always kept his family in his heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Catherine Franklin and father, Roland Earl Mackey also, grandson, Darryl Clinton Davis Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Alesce, her husband, Michael Alesce, Rhonda's daughter, Sarah and Sarah's children, Catherine, Alaina, and Steven. His son, Zachary Mackey and Zachary's son, Riley Mackey.
