Congress, Rosa Marie “Rosie” age 57 of Birmingham passed away April 17, 2011. She attended Harvest Community Church. She was a devoted mother and a very loving sister, grandmother, daughter, and friend. She was a hardworking woman with the biggest heart. Her whole world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Jessie Congress; sons, Kendrick Congress and Marcus Daniel; daughters, Ashia Clayton (Wayman) and Tanisha Daniel; brothers, Henry Congress (Clara) and Milton Congress (Vera), and Elbert Congress; sisters, Dorothy Dunn (Linwood, II), Ida Beverly, Betty Jackson, (Robert), and Gloria Zollicoffer; grandchildren, Anthony Congress, Wayman Clayton, Jr., Yasmine Congress, Lotasia Mann, Kenyatta Congress, Kayla Congress, Dwight Clayton, Christopher Coleman, Jakai Dorsey, and Janaya Daniel; and other family members and friends. Visitation will be at Elmwood Chapel Friday, April 22, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Harvest Community Church at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
