He is survived by his son Mike (Wanda) Campbell one sister Helen Corbett and brother Jimmy (Harriet) Campbell. He is also survived by one granddaughter Stacy Campbell and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Campbell was retired from the Alabama Dept. of Transportation with thirty seven years of service. He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the North African Campaign, Normandy and Battle of The Bulge.
Graveside service will be Wednesday January 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Forest Crest Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Erwin officiating and Ridout’s Trussville Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel Tuesday evening January 29, 2013 from 5 until 7 P.M. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the St. Martins in the Pines staff and the New Beacon Hospice caregivers for their personal and loving care.
