
Sally Ann Randol-Hardy, age 74, of Springville, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025.
Sally was born 6/15/50 to William Wiley Randol and Mary Ida Bentley Randol in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Randol’s: Randy, Mary Ida, Susan and Sally, moved to Alabama when Sally was 2 years old. Sally passed on to be with her loved Savior, Jesus Christ, 5/12/25.
Sally is survived by her: 1) Husband, Robert Raymond “Ray” Hardy, Her Son: Tyler Patrick McGill (Carly), Stepsons: Michael Joseph Hardy (Paula) and Scott Aaron Hardy (Suni), Grandchildren: Hailey Ann McGill, Harper Ann McGill and Ted Patrick McGill, and Step-Grandchild Lola Marie Hardy. Sally is also survived by her Sister, Susan Randol Clark and her Half-sister, Holly Randol von Helms. Sally’s Half-sister, Marilee Randol Berzins, preceded Sally’s passing.
Sally attended/graduated from the following schools: Morningview Elementary, Pintlala Jr High School, Sidney Lanier High School, and The University of Alabama. Sally earned advanced degrees from: University of South Alabama in Math and Secondary Education, and UAB in Counseling. Sally also attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Counseling and Biblical Studies.
Sally had three careers: 1) Teaching Math for 7 years at Satsuma High School where she won “Outstanding Teacher,” “Teacher of the Year,” and became the Math Department Chairman, 2) Working for IBM for 14 years in Sales, Systems Engineering, and finally in Project Management, and 3) Counseling for 34 years. Sally was a “Licensed Professional Counselor” in Alabama and Louisiana.
Sally excelled at communicating, organizing, creating, process improvement, hard work, and attention to detail. Sally was a “Lifelong Learner,” a Teacher, and a Counselor. She did much of her counseling while standing in the “check-out line” at Wal*Mart.
Sally loved Genealogy, Bible Studies, hiking, swimming, and physical fitness. She also loved her son Ty, her grandchildren Hailey, Harper, Ted and Lola. Sally and her sister, Susan, had a very close, special, and loving relationship.
Sally will be missed by everyone. There is a “Big Hole” in our hearts. Her smile and vibrant personality were amazing. She always put others before herself. Sally did not want a Funeral Service or Celebration of Life, and we want to honor her every wish. We love you, Sally!
