He was born in Birmingham on April 15, 1934, to Anthony Sam and Anna Marie Milazzo, who preceded him in death. Sam was also predeceased by his brothers, Joe and Johnny Milazzo.
He is survived by his daughters, Cherie Milazzo and Karen Milazzo, and his brother, Tony Milazzo.
Sam proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He later worked for the City of Homewood. Sam loved cats and was an avid collector of many things. He was passionate about giving back to the community and generously supported the Humane Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
A visitation will be held at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 9:30 - 10:30 am, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum.
