MCCLAIN, SARA FLOYDENE PAYNE “SIS”, age 84 of Huntsville formerly of Trussville, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015. Born April 14, 1931 in Acmar, AL to Lexie McLaughlin Payne and Floyd Lee Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Mac or Bob” M. McClain; daughter, Martha McClain Lewallen; and 4 brothers. She is survived by her sons, Marcus McClain (Linda) of Rockford, AL, Floyd R. McClain of Katy, TX and John W. McClain (Tracy) of Cleveland, TN; sister, Judie Payne Devine; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Sis graduated from Minor High School in 1949 and married Robert in 1950 and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. Her family will receive friends on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be at the chapel on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 beginning at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
