Sarah E Gilley

Sarah E. Gilley, age 81, went home to the Lord Friday July 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband John Gilley; daughter Rita Sue Gilley; parents Albert and Virgil Pridmore; and her siblings Bernice Bannister, Jim Ed Pridmore, Herbert Pridmore, Winford Pridmore, Tommy Pridmore, and Billy Pridmore.

She is survived by her children Donny Wise (Sharon), Judy Robertson, Robert Gilley (Melissa), and Kathy Dick (Jim); grandchildren Michael, Todd, Jeremy, Alex, Johnathan, Nikki, Britney, Megan, and Camille; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother Acie Pridmore: and sisters Linda Carter, Margie Cossette, and Ruth Hyatt.

Sarah enjoyed gardening, puzzle books, cooking Sunday dinners, watching Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud, and listening to old country music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 5:00 until 8:00. The funeral service will be Monday, July 31, 2017 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
