Sarah was the kindest, most generous, loving woman. AND she was a fabulous cook. She just loved people and people loved her. I know that there are many hearts broken at her passing (mine included) but I know she is dancing in heaven with her husband and son and other loved ones. Eric, Kim and family are in our prayers. We love you all.

My mother and I started back to Hopewell Church after many years of being gone. My mother , Alma, had known Sara Faye most of their lives. So there she sat and recognized my mother immediately. They sat like sweet childhood friends for many weeks . Some of which I had to sit between them because they wouldn’t stop laughing. I will never be able to express how much I appreciated how she made my mother feel welcomed. Every Sunday after the service she would say “ come back next week and I will save you a seat”. And she did. I can almost hear the giggles again now that they are sitting in the same service again

When Jerry and I came to Hopewell Baptist Church we were met by Sarah with a wonderful! Welcome she always had a smile and kept us laughing. She always called and talked to me and she always was concerned about Jerry. The last day was on Monday before she went into the hospital she said "She loved us and tell Jerry she is still praying for him." I will never forget her and that loving smile and I will miss talking with her. One day we will see her again! I am praying for comfort for all the family.

I knew Sarah through Hopewell Baptist. She is one of those people who draw you in and you take an immediate liking. She led by example. She was precious, sweet and dedicated. I know she will be greatly missed. I also love her family. My prayers and sympathy for all.
Love in Christ,

Sarah was such a sweet lady. She was one of the first people to welcome Tony and I when we started Hopewell Baptist Church. She always had a kind word, a big smile, and hug to give. She will be sorely missed here but she is happy and whole with the Lord. Love and prayers to the family❤️
