Lowery, Sarah S., 85 went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. E.G. Harbuck, Mrs. James B. Sansing, one brother, Jack Steger. A native of Birmingham, Sarah was a long time active member of Huffman Baptist Church before moving to Priceville 18 months ago. She centered her life around her family and her church. Sarah enjoyed traveling with her close friends from the church, and making crafts at Assistance League that were sold for various charities. She is survived by her husband, James Calvin Lowery of 62 years, one son Steve Lowery (Carol), one daughter, Diane Dunlap Lowery, three grandchildren, Bradley Ryan Lowery (Summer Hodges), Hayden Dunlap Leslie, Bailey Michele Dunlap, Two great grandchildren, Catherine and Madison Lowery. Rev. Larry Smith will officiate funeral services on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon with burial following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to the service time on Wednesday.
