Sarah Emma Sims

Sarah E. Sims went to be with our Lord on February 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry M. Sims, father, Rader Connie Pilgrim; Mother, Ruth Nancy Wendt Pilgrim; sisters, Earline Vest, Louise McGraw, Lucille Brasher, Marguerite Pilgrim; brothers, Floyd Pilgrim, Lawrence Pilgrim, Carl Pilgrim, Oscar Rader Pilgrim; granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Walden Bickerstaff; grandsons, Matthew Clanton and Howard Shepherd; and son-in-law, Comillious Moore.

She is survived by her sisters, Jeanette Davis, Florence Blackstock and Betty Payton; her loving children, Janice Moore (Larry) ,Patricia Walden (Rick) , Linda Hutchins (Jerry), Eugene Sims (Jan), Timothy Sims (Lisa), Mary Sims (Lynn); grandchildren, Tammy Shepherd, Anthony Moore (Michelle), Stacey Walden, Todd Bickerstaff, Kathy Clanton (Tommy), Brian Sims (Stephanie), Beth Boyd (Kevin), Daniel Sims (Lori), Casey Capps (Craig), Cheryene Sims (Erik) and many loving great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Thursday February 9, 2017 from 5:00 -8:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday February 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Crest Cemetery.
