Sarah S. Williams, age 83, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. Sarah was born on June 9, 1939. Sarah enjoyed several hobbies throughout her life like gardening, collecting dolls and spending time with her family.
Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Derrell J. Williams and parents, Jake and Ressie Mae Simmons.
She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Whiting; granddaughters, Tiffany Noel Ragsdale (Wallace S.) and Lauren Whiting; great grandchildren, Rowan and Landon Ragsdale; two sisters, Lucille Price and Willie Mae Crowson; best friend for life, Sara Goode; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM - noon at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Entombment will follow at 12:15 PM at Jefferson Memorial Mausoleum.
