She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Steven F. Abbott, sons, Dustin Stewart and Ryan Johnson; parents, Ned and Pat Rigsby; Godmother, May Isbell; brother, Mike Rigsby (Rhonda); sisters, Donna Fulmer (Barry) and Sandy Bryant (Michael) ; and several nieces and nephews and friends. She graduated from Hewit Trussville High School in 1981. She traveled the world as a military wife. She was the Office Manager at Books-A- Millions. Pallbearers are: Tim Abbott, Chris Johnston, Johnnie Johnston, Shane Fulmer, Dallas Fulmer, and Tyler Bryant.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be Tuesday November 8, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A second visitation will be Wednesday November 9, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
