

Sharon Laverne Snow, beloved wife, mother, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026 at 73. A devoted follower of Christ, Sharon lived a life marked by prayer, kindness, and steadfast love for her family and church community.
Born on November 21, 1952 in Birmingham, Alabama, she married Richard Neal Snow on September 16, 1977, and together they shared a beautiful, joy filled marriage of 48 years. They have a daughter, Megan, who is married to James Edward Thomas.
Her kindness, generosity, and love for others was boundless. Her love and faith in God was unwavering. Her hands were always ready to help, her arms always open to comfort, and her heart always ready to forgive and to bless.
Her legacy is one of tender care: a life defined not by grand gestures but by countless loving moments that shaped her family’s faith and character
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Megan; son-in-law James; siblings, Debbie, Terri, Denise and Greg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her gentle spirit and faithful example.
A funeral service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held at Elmwood Chapel, on June 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm.
