Sherry Morrow

Sherry was born on April 28, 1945 to Curtis and Claudia Stracner. She graduated from Ashville High School in 1963. Later in life, she went on to study Education at Birmingham Southern College.

In 1961, she met William ‘Pete’ Morrow and they wed in Dec of 1963. They adopted twin girls, Jill and Jennifer in 1974. In 1996, she and Pete welcomed their grandson, James Caylan Cranford in to the world.

When they adopted Jill and Jennifer, Sherry decided to dedicate her life to being a wonderful mother. Sherry excelled at encouraging, Pete, Jill and Jennifer and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their life. Whether it was Pete, Jill or Jennifer, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others and pray for them daily.

Sherry loved the beach. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she and Pete could be found at their home in Ft Myers Florida. We will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband Pete Morrow; daughters, Jill Morrow and Jennifer Kinder and grandson, James Caylan Cranford and his wife Tori.

A funeral service will be held at Ellard Cemetery at noon on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Flowers can be sent to Ridouts Trussvile through Monday. Donations can be made to the Salvation Army in her name as well.
