Shirley Marie Kitchen of Birmingham, AL, retiree of Our Lady of Sorrows School and alumni of Ramsey High School, class of 56, passed away at age 75 on May 12, 2014. Marie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a mother to many and loved by all who knew her. She has touched many lives and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Suzanna Roux Keenum; brothers, Albert and Raymond Keenum; and her oldest daughter, Deborah Kitchen Early. Survivors are son, John Richard Kitchen, Jr. (Judy); daughter, Barbara Corum; brothers, James Keenum (Sharon) and Eugene Keenum (Angie); grandchildren, Ashley Partridge (Joey), David Early, Jr., Shelby Corum, Tripp Corum (Noelle), Jayna Johnson (Ryan); great grandchildren River and Zander Partridge, Lidia Early, and Mikya and Jayden Corum; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and many life long friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 2:00pm on May 15, 2014, at Elmwood Chapel with service following. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
