It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Shonda LaDale Watwood, a life long resident of Gardendale, Alabama. Shonda was born to Rodger Watwood and Tina Huddleston (Ed) on April 12, 1994 and departed peacefully at home on August 9, 2025. She leaves behind three beautiful children: Emma Gordie, Jaxon and Greyson Gooch. Shonda also is survived by her brother, Rodney Watwood; sisters: LaShay Watwood; twin sister, Savannah Jordan, Anhsteciny Williams, Alexandria Stricklin (Noah) and a host of nieces and nephews. Shonda was strong willed and stubborn at times but also had an enormous heart, quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a one of a kind daughter, mother, sister and friend. We will love and miss her until we reunite again. A celebration of life will announced for a later date.
A celebration of life will be held on September 27, 2025 at 2pm at Alliance Church, 1270 McCravy Ln, Mt Olive, AL 35117 for family and friends.
