Stanley R. Harris, 55 of Birmingham died Monday, October 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Prestley, a son, Christopher Harris. A native of Birmingham, he served his country as a Marine. Known to his friends as Ricky, he enjoyed the outdoors riding his Harley with his motorcycle club. A jack of many trades, Ricky applied his talents for his friends when they needed an extra hand around the house. He is survived by two sons, Jeremy and Matthew Harris, three brothers, Jeffrey and Gregory Foshee, Kenneth Foshee, one niece, Angelina Foshee, and a host of cousins. Graveside services will be 2:45 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Alabama National Cemetery.
