Steven Edgar Clements

CLEMENTS, STEVEN EDGAR Steven E. Clements, age 54, of Austin, TX, formerly of Birmingham, AL. He was predeceased by his father, Harold Elmer Clements in 1991, his mother, Johnnye Moore Clements in 2000, and his oldest brother, Donald Roy Clements in 1969. Steve was the youngest of five children. He is survived by Jerry Wayne Clements, of Georgetown, TX, Virginia Kay Clements, of Georgetown, TX and Peggy Leigh Dennis, and her husband, Bob Dennis of Bertram, TX, nephews; Franklin Tyler Hewatt, of Georgetown, TX and his wife, Emily Anne Serrett, of Atlanta, GA and David Phillips, of Jonesboro, GA, niece, Cindy Mary Dennis, of Leander, TX, great- niece, Bailey Katherine Hewatt, and great -nephews: Kaden Tyler Welsh and Jacob Michael Serrett. Steve developed a love for cars at a very young age and remained passionate about them throughout his life, he also enjoyed camping and fishing. He loved to sit on the shore of the lake all night long with his fishing rod and his friends, just talking. Though he never married or had children, he was very devoted to his family. He was always there for them, giving his support, and always taking the time to listen and help with whatever he could. Steve had a comforting aura about him that seemed to put everyone at ease and they immediately knew that they could trust him. He was very much loved by us all and will be greatly missed. Graveside service will be held Thursday July 28, 2011, at Elmwood Cemetery at 10:00 A.M., with visitation Wednesday July 27, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel.
