

Suzanne Sherman Norris, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with COPD. Suzanne’s life was marked by resilience, devotion to her family, and a quiet strength that carried her through both joy and hardship.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Buster Norris, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Max Sherman and Marjorie Sherman Hammett; her stepfather, Jim Hammett; her brother, Richard Sherman, sister in-law, Darla Sherman; and her sister, Karen Sherman Nelson.
Suzanne leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory: her sons, Rance Norris (Jennifer), Barry Norris, and Steve Norris. She was a proud and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and a treasured great grandmother to four great grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sister in law, Betty Meyer (Dr. Richard Meyer), and her brother in law, Dr. Michael Nelson, along with extended family and friends who were touched by her kindness and grace.
