Ted Leon Williams, Sr. MD, age 77 of Cleveland, Alabama went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 22, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Grace Williams. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Norma Williams; his children Ted L. Williams, Jr. (Jodie), Laura Steadman (Mike), Lisa Myers (Nick), and Michael Williams (Amy); grandchildren Matthew and Daniel Williams, Tyler Richmond, Ashleigh Steadman, Makenzie Myers, Carley and Brody Williams.
He loved Alabama football. He was a ham radio operator for 43 years, N4AYI. He was also a member of Rosa United Methodist Church. He served in the US Army. Ted was a very talented musician, and loved playing the piano and organ.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Rosa United Methodist Church from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Dailey’s Cemetery near Rosa UMC.
