Teddy Sanders Burttram, age 73, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2016. Born on 10/23/1942 in Springville, AL, he had been residing in Melbourne, FL, for the past 36 years. He always called Springville "home" and he wanted to come back home to spend his last days. He was visited by many childhood friends and relatives in the two weeks after he arrived back in Springville. Mr. Burttram was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jim and by his parents, Milford and Margaret Burttram. He is survived by his son, Sandy and daughter, Davida Baur (Rob); grandsons James Burttram and Corey Swearingen; sister, Sylvia Waid; brother, Garry Burttram (Merle); and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Visitation will be on February 9, 2016 from 11:00-1:00 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Springville, with service to follow with Brother Mike Glasgow officiating. Mr. Burttram will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church cemetery.
