DOLLAR, TESSIE MAE died on September 18 at the age of 86. She was born in Tennessee but grew up in Jefferson county. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Otis C. Dollar. She had been a member of West Woodlawn Methodist Church and lately Center Point First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her two children, Dr. James R. Dollar (Sandy) and Linda Bass (Bill), four grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Dollar, Joseph Shaw, Scott Dollar and Julie Shaw and four great-grand children. In addition she is survived by a brother and four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be Tuesday at 11 am at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with visitation at 10 am. The family wished to thank the staffs of Hearthstone Assisted Living, Fairhaven Nursing Home, and Hope and Odyssey hospice services.
