Theresa F. Collins, 81, died Wed, Dec.20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin & Virgie Spears; husband, Charles J. Collins; daughter Denise Collins & granddaughter, Ashley Collins. She is survived by her sons, Charles Collins, Brian Collins (Suzy) & Neil Collins (Heather); grandchildren, Madison, Abbie, Alex & Luke. She was a member of Crossway Baptist Church & was a graduate of West End High School & Judson College. Theresa worked in her family business, El Charro Mexican Restaurant for almost 50 years. Visitation will be held on Sat, Dec. 23, 2017 from 10-11a.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with funeral service following at 11a.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Spina Bifida Association or Alabama Boston Terrier Rescue.
