Thomas "Tommy" Lee Tucker passed on March 1, 2026, at the age of 80; he was born June 16, 1945. He was a graduate of Hueytown High School 1962, and then Birmingham Southern 1965, and UAB School of Medical Technology 1966. He retired after a rewarding career with the UAB Hospital Blood Bank.
Tommy is survived by his spouse Kathy Tucker; his children, Valerie (Matt) and Lee; and his grandchildren, Madison and Alexander.
Visitation for Tommy will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2 Xavier Circle, Birmingham, AL 35213, on March 19, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2 Xavier Circle, Birmingham, AL 35213, on March 19, 2026, at 11:00 am.
