Timothy Edward Massey, 53, of Trussville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday January 14, 2013. A native of Birmingham, Tim was born on September 25, 1959 and graduated from, Hewitt Trussville High School. A self starter, Tim formed his own company Alabama Oil & Gas Recovery over 20 years ago. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at Logan Martin Lake. He was an avid Harley rider, enjoying the short trips as much as much as the long cross country treks. He is survived by his parents, Ed & June Massey; Sister, Cheryll Cross (John); Children, Leslie McCutcheon, Lauren Ezekiel (Blake), Blake Massey & granddaughter, Macee McCutcheon, and two nieces and a great nephew. Graveside services will be 11:00 Friday, January 18, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:30 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel.
