BARNES, TOMMIE HAWKINS 92, passed this life for the next one on Friday, June 17, 2011. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her son, Carl and her son-in-law, Jim Knight. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Knight of Lake Wylie, S.C., Jenny Crocker and son-in-law Rick of Kennesaw, GA., Joni Johnson and son-in-law Tim of Highlands, TX., eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 21st at 11 am at Valhalla Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 20th at Elmwood Chapel from 5-7 pm. Her nephew, Ed Barnes will be officiating. >
