Tommy Gene Wallace, age 87 of Springville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. He was a loving husband and devoted father. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church for over 67 years. He retired from the Square D where he worked almost 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Fannie Wallace; brothers, Paul, Walter, and James Wallace; his sisters, Margaret Duke, Helen Littleton, and Katherine Payne. Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bethel Wallace; three sons, Michael, Tommy (Lynn), and Paul (Deborah); and his daughter, Jan Fuqua (David); eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, many friends and a wonderful church family.
Services will be held at Gospel Assembly Church at 300 Murhrees’ Valley Road, Springville, Alabama 35146 on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at 1 PM. The visitation will begin at 11 AM until service time followed with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery in Leeds on Old Highway 78.
