SUMMERS, VADA J., age 83 of Palmerdale, passed away at her residence on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Summers; and grandson, John Michael Anderson. She is survived by her children, Reba Summers, Vivian Anderson and Dennis Summers; grandchildren, Jason Mayes (Kim), Misty Mayes, Leslie Hardwick (Jeff) and Maddi Summers; great-grandchildren, Morgan Hogeland (Gary), Chris Quick, Kinsley Quick, Blake Mayes (Marisa), Savannah Mayes, Mary Frances Hardwick, David Hardwick and Maggie Hardwick; and great great-grandchildren, Colton Jeffers and Shepherd Mayes. Vada retired from Red Diamond and attended Clay Church of Christ. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 10-11 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery in Oneonta.
