VANDERFORD, WAYMAN ERSKINE "BIFF" Age 90 of Hoover passed away October 24, 2011. He was a graduate of Ensley High School and Auburn University. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He was a lifetime Deacon at Shades Crest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Vanderford; and his sister, Reinette Howard. He is survived by his son, John W. Vanderford; daughter, Sylvia Crowson; grandchildren, Danielle Honea, Alexis Usry, and Alexandria Crowson; and great grandchildren, Jackson Crowson, John Louis Honea, and Ava Usry. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00 am at Shades Crest Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Shades Crest Baptist Church
