Milton Wayne Hodges passed away peacefully on September 22, 2014 at Baptist Princeton Hospital. He graduated from Jones Valley High School in 1967. He attended Auburn University, where he was an engineering student. He co-oped with Robin Engineering in Birmingham where he became senior project manager. He was preceded in death by his parents Morris and Betty Hodges. He is survived by his sisters Cheryl (Abbott) Williams, Cynthia Hodges, Birmingham, AL, Denise (Lee) Jordan, Huntsville, AL, and Cathy (Daniel) Turberville, Tybee Island, GA; nephew, Nathan Jordan, nieces, Jessica Turberville, Mary Marsh, Pala Alto, CA, Margaret Anthony (Lee), Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home Wednesday, September 26, 2014, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. and burial following. Rev. Walter Frank Johnsey Sr. will be officiating. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Rick Player and his respiratory staff at UAB West, the staff at Arlington Rehab and Baptist Princeton Hospital for their excellent care for him while he was there.
