Wayne Bunt Tucker

Wayne Bunt Tucker went to be with the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He is preceded in death by his father Clifton L. Tucker, his mother Clara B. Tucker and his brother John O. Tucker. He leaves behind his wife Catherine Tucker, twin brother Wade Tucker, sister Linda Rains (Robert), daughter Tracy Colvin, granddaughter Charley Colvin, stepsons Allen and Chris Clark and many nieces, nephews and friends. He graduated from Woodlawn High school where he played on the tennis team. He grew up as a member of Irondale United Methodist Church and most recently a member of Trinity United Methodist in Homewood. Wayne was the University of Alabama's #1 football fan and was friends with many former coaches, players and staff. He was a member of the Red Elephant Club and was very proud of his team. He was loved by so many, never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anybody. Visitation will be at Johns Ridout in Trussville on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with a service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Jefferson Memorial.
