William “Bill” Edward Baugh, 84, passed away on September 25, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Gladys Baugh. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Linda Baugh; daughters, Leah Sanders (Allen) and Susan Reed (Mark); grandchildren, David Sanders (Melissa), Sabrina Sanders (Scarlett), Katie Sanders (David), Melinda Atchison (Nick), Mollie Reed (Emery Marshall), Max Reed, and Meghan Reed; and great-grandchildren, Walter Sanders, Julianne Way, Francis Way, and Ellie Jane Marshall.
Bill was a life-long Mason from the Coal Water Lodge. He also served as the president of the Steel Workers Union for many years. Bill was an avid fan of boxing, Alabama football, and the Green Bay Packers.
Bill was a loving and dedicated father who spent his life in support of his daughters.
A visitation for Bill will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
