William “Will” Michael Gurosky was welcomed into heaven on May 29, 2021 at the age of 21. Will brought great joy to all who knew him and loved everyone unconditionally. Will faced many adversities, but he never let those hinder his loving, joyous spirit. He never met a stranger, and loved nothing more than to talk to everyone he met about what kind of car they drove. He was a lover of donuts, especially maple bacon donuts at Heavenly Donuts. He loved going to school and was proud to tell everyone that he went to Mountain Brook High School. One of his favorite things to do was to go to Camp ASCCA every summer. Some of his favorite activities at camp were swimming, zip lining and tubing. He also enjoyed spending the night with his grandparents and planning which restaurants they would go to while he was there. He was blessed to have so many special teachers, aides, sitters, and peer helpers in his life. We were all blessed by his life, as he enriched the lives of all that knew him with his contagious love and laughter.
Will is survived by his parents, Suzanne and Jeff Gurosky; his sister “sissie”, Anna Catherine Gurosky; grandparents Linda and Michael Gurosky & Cathy and Bill Schuelly; aunt Melissa Freeman (Danny), uncle Michael Schuelly (Kelly), uncle Scott Gurosky (Kelly) and cousins Ashley Woods (Jesse), Chris Freeman (Jessica), Davis Gurosky, Drew Gurosky, John Michael Knowles, Emily Knowles, Madison Schuelly, Maisie Schuelly and Hannah Hambrick (Garrett).
Family visitation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 4th followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Brook Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Camp ASCCA.
