William Russell Hilton, 77 of Bend, Oregon, formally of Birmingham passed away July 13, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cranston Steven “Slats” Hilton and Helen Mae Stripling. He is survived by his wife, Scarlett, 3 children, Traci Hilton Breland (Steve), William Russell Hilton, Jr., and Kenneth Craig “Gabe” Hilton, 5 grandchildren, Wesley Breland, Beth Ann Breland, Brant Hilton, Aden Hilton, and Liam Hilton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Elmwood Chapel, with funeral services following. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Spinal Cord Injury Association.
