William S. Lord of Birmingham, AL passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the age of 82. William was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather who was very much loved and will be missed. He was married to Carol Jeanette Lord and worked for General Electric for 33 years. He was a member of North Park Baptist Church. He loved family, yard work and volunteering at church. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Carol Jeanette Lord, Sons: William S. Lord Jr. (Charlotte), John Mark Lord (Pam). Daughters: Christine L. Cantu (Robert), Sister: Martha Ann Roberson, Grand Children: Jennifer Thompson, Jason Lord, Matthew Cantu, Trevor Cantu, Elise Yarbrough & Will Youngblood. Great Grand Children: Bret Lord, Jonah Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Leah Cantu, & Austin Cantu. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Children’s Hospital of Birmingham. There will be a private graveside service at Forest Hills Cemetery on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 11:00 am.
