MCMILLAN SR., WILLIAM DAVID age 71, of Hoover, passed away July 20, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eloise Lynch McMillan and Archie M. McMillan, Sr. Bill was a graduate of Ensley High School and was a recipient of the Fred Sington Award for outstanding Athlete and Scholar. He graduated from Birmingham Southern College in 1962 and had a career in the insurance business. He had a serious illness for many years but is now at peace with the Lord. Bill is survived by his children; Marilyn Ireland, William David McMillan, Jr. (Pamela) and Michelle Calvert (Richard), grandchildren; Billy McMillan (Heather), Stephanie Ireland, Jason McMillan, Mackenzie Calvert and Greer Calvert, sisters; Sandra McMillan, Margie McMillan, brother Archie M. McMillan, Jr. and former wife Judy McMillan. Services will be held Saturday July 23, 2011 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel at 11:00 A.M., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity
