William L.ee Orr

William L.ee Orr, age 79, of Cleveland, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. William was born January 12, 1943. Growing up, Lee enjoyed cooking. He often assisted his father who was a chef. It was often that he would daily, help prepare the meals of the day at his restaurant. To be noted, he may have listen to Elvis Presley while doing so. As he was an avid fan of his music both rock and roll and gospel. He was a loveable person who was always in a friendly and loving position to even strangers he would meet through out his day. Being a Blount County resident for over 20 years, he socialized with friends and family at The Arc located in Oneonta, Alabama where he participated in activities and events.

Lee is preceded in death by his father William Clayton Orr and his loving mother Marguerite Camilla Orr, and Robert Orr. He is survived by Deloris Randolph and Tiffany Britt.

A visitation for William will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211. Following the visitation will be a graveside from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
