He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Hargett (Dale); and son, Lynn Shepherd.
A visitation for William will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery.
