William Allen Short, Jr., age 62, of Birmingham was called Home Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Mr. Short was an Eagle Scout and a member of the F. O. P. He is survived by Mary Short his wife of 30 years; daughter Tammy Strength (David); grandchildren Laylon Hayes and David Strength II; sisters Cheryl Dodd (Roger) and Linda Hayes (Frankie); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
