Andrew Jacob Reed, age 37, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Bloomington. Born January 29, 1988 in Marion, Indiana, he was the son of Larry and Delona (Daughterty) Reed. He grew up attending the Swayzee Nazarene Church in Swayzee, Indiana. Andrew attended Indiana University and had worked in radio sales and marketing. He loved his two cats as well as planning parties.
Andrew is survived by his father, Larry Reed, of Lafontaine, Indiana, his step-father, Doug Carmichael, of Summitville, Indiana, his sister, Sara (Ryan Ream) Reed, of Sheridan, Indiana, his brother, Matthew Reed, of Summitville, Indiana; four nieces and nephews, Addyson Ream, Ryker Ream, Bexley Ream and Colten Reed, one aunt, Debra McCord, of Rigdon, Indiana, one very close friend, Cory Despain, of Bloomington and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delona (Daugherty) Reed Carmichael and many aunts and uncles.
There will be no visitation or service at this time.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Monroe County Humane Association.
