Autumn Druce Billings

Autumn Druce Billings, age 96, of Bedford, Indiana, formerly of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 27, 2024 at the White River Lodge in Bedford. Born September 14, 1927 in Lawrence County, Indiana, she was the daughter of James Oliver and Mary Luveda (Andis) Beyers. Autumn retired from R.C.A. where she worked as a relief operator. She was a graduate of Smithville High School and enjoyed doing glasswork, leatherwork, fishing and making southwestern style jewelry.

Autumn is survived by one niece, Rebecca Altop Zody, of Morgantown, Indiana and two nephews, Ashley Barrow, of Bedford and Norman Altop, of Morgantown and several step-children and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ray Fields, 2nd husband, Lloyd Speer, 3rd husband, Doug Franklin Billings, her son, Ronald E. Fields, one brother, James Oliver Beyers, Jr.; two sisters, Claudeen Altop and Mary Lou Day and one nephew, Richard Altop.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford, Indiana.
