Barbara Jean Bush

Barbara Jean Franz Bush, 91, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in her home. Born November 25, 1931 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, she was the daughter of Ernest William Bernard Franz and Margaret E. (Fostner) Franz. She along with her late husband, Don Bush, owned and operated Don Bush Moving and Storage. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family,camping, fishing, crotchet, crafts, NASCAR and dirt track races and I.U. Football and Basketball. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend.

Barbara was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church and West Side Community Church. She was involved with VIP Senior Volunteers, the Kitchen Band, Traveling Turtles Camping Club and the Tree Lake Association in Palmetto, Florida.

Barbara is survived by her loving children; Sarah (Roy) Bruce, of Bloomington, Marsha Tribby, of Indianapolis, Steven (Beth) Bush, of Spencer, Indiana, Debra (Gene) Hardwick, of Washington, Indiana, Don Bush, Jr., of Bradenton, Florida and David (Tammy Eslick) Bush, of Terre Haute, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don Bush, one brother and five sisters.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
