Betty R. Webb Jackson

Betty R. Jackson, 79, of Bloomington, died at Garden Villa, Monday, July 26, 2010.

Born February 9, 1931 in Byington, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Myrtle (Webb) Crawley.

Betty was employed by the DNR at Paynetown SRA and had served as camp nurse for the Ryneburg Boy Scouts in 1974-75.

Betty enjoyed feeding and watching Hummingbirds.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Max Jackson , to whom she would have been married for 62 yrs on 31 August 2010. She is also survived by 1 son, Richard Mark Jackson of Linton, IN; 7 grandchildren: Shelly Enstrom, Shannon Enstrom, Angela (Jackson) Downing, R. Marc Jackson, all of Bloomington, IN; Melissa (Jackson) and Lisa Jackson of Colorado, and Karen (Jackson) Amos of Indianapolis, IN ; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by 1 son, Steven Allen Jackson ; 1 daughter, Shirley Ruth Enstrom, and a sister, Faye Chandler.

Funeral services will be at 9:00 A.M. Monday, August 2, at Day Funeral Home. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home on Sunday 4-6 P.M. and before the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie on State Rd. #3.
