Carol Dean Mobley

Carol Dean Mobley, 87, of Bloomington, IN passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was born February 12, 1934 in Seymour, Indiana the son of the late Ora “Buck” J. Mobley and Floanie Jane (Thompson) Mobley. Carol was a member of Burgoon Baptist Church, which he deeply loved and cherished his church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from RCA after 38 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, working-outside, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Carol is survived by his son, Michael Mobley; his daughter, Cynthia Stillions; his girlfriend, Carolyn Cowden; a brother, Gene Mobley and his wife Dorothy; four grandchildren, Brandi Stillions, Bo Stillions, Nicholas Mobley, and Allison Mobley; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Henley Winters; and many other beloved family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby (Daisy) Mobley and a sister, Wilma (Keith) Hatton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Burgoon Baptist Church, 8598 E. Burgoon Church Road in Bloomington.
